A word from the pastor….

It is a law of life that healthy growth depends on good, nutritious food. This is also true in the spiritual realm; to grow spiritually, you must have a good diet. The Word of God feeds the spirit of man as nothing else can.

People often try to grow on experiences. Exciting as they may be, they do not provide solid nourishment for healthy spiritual development. Some people try to grow spiritually by observing church law and tradition, which leads them into spiritual bondage. It is my desire to provide Bible studies that produce solid spiritual growth for you as you come into a better understanding of our Creator and His powerful plan for your life.

While Calvary Chapel West Texas is a church, we are more like a Bible study. My desire is to teach through all of the Bible in order to present the whole counsel of God. I encourage you to bring a study Bible and read along as the Bible study is in progress. I use the New King James Version. After each Bible study I am available to discuss the text.
