Calvary Chapel Missions & Evangelism
“ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19,20
Calvary Chapel endeavors to teach the Scriptures and to reach the lost with the message of God’s salvation. Here at Calvary we are involved in five mission outreaches locally and abroad.
a.Samaritan’s Purse- Founded by Franklin Graham, this emergency relief ministry provides assistance to victims of natural disaster, war, disease, and famine in the name of Jesus. Calvary Chapel supports this ministry throughout the year.
b. Joshua Fund - Founded by Joel Rosenburg, this ministry helps Christians bless Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus, according to Genesis 12:1-3. They provide food and provisions to those in need. Joshua Fund teaches and encourages local pastors and churches, as well. Calvary Chapel seeks to bless Israel through this ministry.
c. Home Missionaries Jack and Teresa Donaghey- Jack and Teresa, as an outreach and extension of Calvary Chapel Midland, have made Carlsbad, New Mexico their home and place of ministry. We support their endeavors as they start a new church work in that area.
Calvary Chapel supports these ministries throughout the year. If you would like to personally support any specific ministry listed here, you may use an envelope provided on our missions display board and place it in any of the tithing boxes.
“ …He said to them, ‘The harvest truly is great but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers unto His harvest…”
